Languedoc | Bistro Chardonnay
In France, it is a tradition to meet in a local brasserie or bistro to chat, have a drink or have dinner together. B&G Bistro has all the qualities required of a good Bistro wine: delicious, fun, it is a perfect accompaniment to different dishes and flavors!
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
Tasting notes: Color: Bright pale yellow color.
Nose: Very aromatic with aromas of exotic fruits, pineapple and star fruit, accompanied by buttery and freshly vanilla notes.
Palate: Ripe, round and delicious mouthfeel with lively acidity. Flattering woody notes persist on the finish.
Food matches: Perfect with white meats, poultry, salads and pastas.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C (50-54°F)
Winemaking: Night and morning harvest. Gentle crushing of the grapes – short skin maceration to obtain aromatic complexity – light pressing – pre-fermentation oxygenation – controlled alcoholic fermentation.
Soil: Wide variety of soils such as sand, clay, chalk, shale, gravel and pebbles.
Climate: Mediterranean climate, windy with high temperatures and exceptional sunshine.
Sugar levels: < 1 g/l
