Thomas Barton Reserve wines in concert!

We do not exactly know if Johannus Sebastien Bach and Joseph Frantz Haydn were personal friends of Thomas Barton. What we do know for sure is that Thomas Barton Reserve wines inspire Nigerian musicians! Thomas Barton Reserve wines are accompanying various concerts in October, November and December throughout the country.

Thousands of consumers will have the occasion to taste the wines. Radio spots will promote Thomas Barton and Barton & Guestier wines during the same period.

The concert pictured is the Luxury concert that was the second organised by Smooth FM radio station on November 5th. The concert was themed ‘Love Music Love Life’ which is also the radio station’s slogan. The concert featured performances by three artists- American Saxophonist Pamela Williams, South African Jazz Guitarist Jimmy Dludlu, and Nigerian singing sensation Asa.

The event was mostly targeted at lovers of Jazz music and the audience was made up of a mature crowd, particularly those in the VIP sections which included MDs and CEOs of multinational companies and top media personalities. This was an ideal opportunity to showcase a Premium brand such as Thomas Barton.

The audience was divided into three categories: General seating for 600 people, 32 tables for 320 VIP guests, and the VVIP lounge for 100 guests. Thomas Barton was used to support the event in the VIP section and the VVIP lounge. The wines were available on each table for the VIP guests. In the VVIP lounge, a well branded stand was set up to ensure high visibility. The guests were served at their tables while they enjoyed the performances. Brand visibility was high in a number of ways: the stage projections showed the logos of the brands intermittently. The event programme had an advert of Thomas Barton with the importer’s details at the bottom; the presenter also mentioned Thomas Barton wines a number of times when he appreciated the sponsors of the event. The pre-event radio announcements, newsletter and mobile advert (in form of a branded bus) also featured Thomas Barton.

> China
