If only a few time ago we were entirely "B2B", with a little "B2C", today it is all about being "P2P"! It is about connecting people, products, ideas and experiences, while remaining "B&G"!
Despite a strong desire for individualisation, we also like to be part of group, inside which we feel secure, recognised and where we find the replies to our questions. Today groups can be very easily created, thanks to modern technologies: the world wide web, blogs, social media, mobile phones, QR codes... Especially, the use of social media changes the way consumers and companies interact. But is it a lucky change?
Every day in classic media we can read about special studies, questioning if social media is useful or not. The conclusions they draw are radically opposite from one to another! At Barton & Guestier we think that social media are a lucky complement. Ignore or avoid them, is like staying on a cabblestone road, while we are in a hurry, and while having the high way just next door!
This does not mean that we abandon the existing communication tools. We are perfectly aware that not all our customers, consumers, producers or suppliers are "connected" to social media and to their mobile phones.
We will thus continue to exchange with you by all means: first by the visit of our sales team to your market, then, by the "live" presentation of our wines at international wine fairs and the "virtual" presentation on the B&G Pro Club, by means of our different websites, but also via QR-codes on our backlabels, via our Fanpage on Facebook, and of course; last but not least by sending you this Assemblage newsletter...
Enjoy with me this new issue and let’s raise a glass to a long life of Barton & Guestier!
