- ELIGIBILITY and ENTRY PERIOD
Entry is open from 01.01.2026 (00h00 French time) to 30.11.2026 (23h59 French time) to people of legal drinking age in their country of residence, excluding employees of Barton & Guestier and their families.
Void where prohibited by law. The Promotor reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries from jurisdictions where participation would violate local laws.
- HOW TO ENTER
- Scan the QR code found on promotional materials (e.g., case cards, displays, wraps, neck-hangers or enter directly on www.barton-guestier.com/2026PronunciationChallenge/
(The purchase of a B&G wine bottle is not mandatory to enter the competition).
- Follow the instructions on the screen and pronounce the name of the appellation or varietal of your choice.
- Follow us on Instagram @barton.guestier or Facebook @bartonguestier.
- Optional: Feel free to make a post about your participation or on our wines using hashtag #DoYouSpeakBG.
Any entries we deem to be encouraging irresponsible behaviour will be disqualified. In accordance with French law (Loi Evin), any photo depicting the consumption of alcohol may not be considered. If you wish to show your B&G moment with a wine, please take your reel or picture before opening the bottle.
- PRIZE SET & WINNERS
- 1 Grand Prize: one trip for 2 persons to B&G company headquarters based at Château Magnol, Blanquefort (near Bordeaux), France with a stay from Monday to Friday, including airfare, visa costs, airport transfers, visits, meals, wine tastings, wine school (total value approx. 5000 US$). Personal expenses are not included.
The Grand Prize winner will be the best entrant chosen for the best pronunciation by the Barton & Guestier team. The grand prize winner will be chosen after the competition closes on November 30, 23h59 French time.
- 11 additional prizes (1 per month) consist of a surprise box with 6 bottles of appellation wines (value per box between 100-150 US$).
The additional prize winners (one per month) will be chosen for their original pronunciation by the Barton & Guestier team on the last day of each month.
- PRIZES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE
The result of the prize draws are final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are non‐transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- NOTIFICATIONS
The Grand Prize winners will be notified by e-mail within two weeks following the end of the competition (November 30th, 2026).
Monthly prize winners will be notified by e-mail one week after the end of each month.
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their pronunciation recording and first name on Barton & Guestier's Social Networks for promotional purposes.

By entering the competition prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

By entering, you consent to the collection of your email, first name, voice recording and country for contest management purposes. Data will be deleted within 6 months after the contest ends.
