A classic style with a good notion of ripeness...
Fine toastiness on the nose, notes of new oak, a mix of red and dark fruit here. There are dry spices, the red and black currant, a quite classic expression with good notion of ripeness.The palate is offering good grip and volume, there is still a youthful texture with a tannic bite, but no hard edges here, with digest and red fruit flavours, we have redcurrants and a hint of butter scotch and oak underneath. A wine that starts to open up.
